What we do
SaltFill delivers water softener salt to your home and loads it into your softener's brine tank on a recurring schedule. We set the schedule from your measured usage. After each visit we send a text with the salt level, bags added, a photo, and your next date.
Plans and billing
We load Morton water softener pellets unless you ask for something else. Standard is $40 per month for up to two bags per visit. Heavy use is $58 per month for up to four bags per visit. Pool salt is billed per bag as added. Florida sales tax is added to all charges. Billing is monthly, in advance, to the card on file. Prices can change with 30 days' notice by text; changes apply to your next billing cycle.
Two ways to start
Free first month (three-month minimum). Your card is placed on file at signup and charged $0. Your first monthly charge posts 30 days after signup, and we send a text reminder at least 7 days before it. By choosing this option you agree to a minimum of three monthly billing cycles. If you cancel before your third monthly charge has been paid, you authorize SaltFill to charge the card on file for the free month at the regular rate of your plan, and no further amounts. This covers the salt and service you received. After three paid months, you may cancel at any time with no fee.
Pay as you go (no minimum). Your first month is charged at signup. Cancel at any time; billing stops after your last completed visit. No minimum and no cancellation fee.
Cancelling and pausing
Text STOP to cancel or PAUSE to pause, any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Pausing stops billing and visits until you text RESUME. Free-month customers who pause before completing the three-month minimum will have the minimum resume when service resumes.
Access
You're responsible for giving us a way to reach the brine tank (gate codes, garage codes, unlocked side yard). If we arrive on a scheduled visit and cannot reach the tank, we'll text you and reschedule; a second missed access in the same month may be billed as a visit.
Your softener
We fill the brine tank. We do not service, repair, or adjust softener equipment. If we notice something that looks wrong (salt bridging, no regeneration, leaks), we'll tell you in your visit text. SaltFill is not responsible for equipment condition or water quality.
Texting
By giving us your mobile number you agree to receive service and account texts from SaltFill, including scheduling, visit confirmations, billing reminders, and follow-ups about a signup you started. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts (which may also end service, since texts are how we confirm visits) or HELP for help.
Disputes
Text us first — nearly everything gets sorted in one exchange. These terms are governed by Florida law. Venue is Collier County, Florida.

Do I need to be home?
No. Most brine tanks are in a garage, a well house, or on the side of the house. Give us a gate or garage code, or leave the path clear. You'll get a photo the moment we're done.
Does this work with my softener brand?
Yes. Culligan, Kinetico, Fleck, Rainsoft, Hague, big-box units — salt is salt. We fill any brine tank.
How do you decide when to come back?
We measure the level at every visit and track how much you use. The next date is set from that, not a fixed calendar, so you don't run dry and you don't pay for salt you didn't need.
What if I use more or less than my plan?
We'll tell you after the first visit and move you to the plan that fits. If you're on the line, we'll leave you where you are.
Can you fix my softener?
Not yet. If we see a salt bridge, a mushy tank, or a unit that isn't regenerating, we'll tell you in the text so you can call a service tech before it becomes a problem.
How does the free month work?
Pick "Free first month" at signup and put a card on file. We charge $0, do your first fill, and measure your usage. Thirty days later the plan starts on the card, and we text you a week before. The free month has a three-month minimum: stay through your third bill and month one was on us. Cancel before that and month one is charged at the regular plan rate — you got the salt, we just bill it. If you'd rather skip the minimum, pick "Pay as you go" and cancel any time.
